NWR provides expert, compassionate care to thousands of wild animals each year—from orphaned fox kits to injured snapping turtles, and over 180 species in between. We do not receive financial support from the state or local government agencies. Our work with wildlife across Nebraska is only made possible through community support and partnerships like yours!

Sponsor a Nursery
Help give wild patients the best possible start—sponsor one of our 16 nurseries! From tiny songbirds to young raccoons, squirrels, turtles, opossums, bats, and more, each nursery provides specialized care until these patients are ready for release. Nursery sponsors enjoy prominent recognition in our front lobby and featured acknowledgment on our website, highlighting their vital role in giving these animals a second chance at life.
